I entered the Veterinary profession in 2007 as a Private Practitioner in mixed practice in rural Northern Ireland, which involved every kind of Veterinary species from Cattle, sheep, horses, companion animals and exotics on individual and herd health/flock bases. After two or three years I joined the Department of Agriculture in Northern Ireland as a Field Veterinary Officer for a time, before gaining my OV training and undertaking full time OV duties and audit work. More recently I have worked as lead Field Operations Veterinary officer, and currently as OV Field Veterinary Lead in the North and West of the Provence.
